Your Hand In Mine was a dance piece meant to evoke and explore the various types of Love from Platonic, and Familial to Romantic. I was inspired by the various colors and shades found in sunsets for this peace. To me they captured the raw feelings of the various types of love and I incorporated their colors in the various accessories worn by the dancers from their sashes, headbands, scarfs and sleeves. The base of their outfits on the other hand, their pants and tops are a salmon pink as it is close to the traditional Red often used to resemble romantic and lustful love but is softer and able to encompass all love.
